well, the experiment of releasing the hand that feeds in garageband format was a resounding success. for those of you unaware, i essentially gave away the master multitrack sessions for that song for you to remix / reinterpret / ruin. last I checked, there were hundreds of remixes and info posted here alone. i've enjoyed and cringed at what you've done with my song. thank you (i think). so... here i offer you only, the new single. this time, i've expanded the idea from just offering the song in garageband to four different formats that include windows users are well. again, there is no agenda here other than for you to explore, experiment, and have fun with it. depending on how this goes we may construct a more formal community for remix postings and/or possibly some sort of "official" endorsement by means of an EP or something. i'm looking forward to hearing what you come up with... trent reznor APPLE GARAGEBAND [MAC ONLY] Requirements: OS: 10.3.6 or later HW: G4 processor with at least 640MB RAM SW: GarageBand 2 (current version is 2.0.1) GarageBand is great for the beginner and pro alike.  Load the file and hit the space bar.   The track starts out "mixed"- then start messing around.  Pros- you can load this file into Logic as well. All of "with teeth" was recorded using Pro Tools.  This file differs from the others in that it is doesn't start out "mixed" in any way.  We (Digidesign and I) decided that this format would be the appropriate one for you to try your hand at mixing, so the session "comes up" pretty raw.  I've also included some alternate parts and takes (in playlists) that were not included in the final version for you to experiment with.
